If so then Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust is looking to recruit motivated, caring, and compassionate individuals for the role of Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to assist qualified nursing staff with patient care.
The Trust will be running a number of recruitment days for Healthcare Assistants with the next one being on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and Saturday, April 8th, 2023.
The events will be held at Southport and Formby District General Hospital and time slots will be allocated after the application has been screened.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the Health Care Assistant will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of care delivery in undertaking personal

She said: “Healthcare Assistants are vital to the Trust.
“They play a major role in delivering personal and effective care for all patients and are highly valued members of our teams.

HCAs work closely under direction of the senior nurse who will be available for reference and will be able to respond to individual needs in delivering patient care.
