Celebrities, fundraisers and supporters are celebrating with thank yous to Southport and Ormskirk hospitals staff in the run up to Christmas.
Ant and Dec, who are currently hosting I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here each night on ITV, kicked off the thank yous today with a message from the set at Gwrych Castle, North Wales.
Chief Executive Trish Armstrong-Child said: “The pandemic has made 2020 a year like no other for everyone on the frontline of healthcare and we wanted to spread some extra cheer among staff in the run up to the festive season.
“There are a good number of other famous faces to come as we open the doors on our countdown calendar! It’s one of a number of activities we’re planning for staff over the next few weeks.
“We’re also inviting local people to post their thank yous on our hospital Facebook and Twitter pages. It doesn’t matter whether they’re messages, drawings or videos, we look forward to seeing them all.”
