People are being encouraged to submit questions to directors of their local hospital trust board meeting.

Board members of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust have been meeting virtually since spring last year because of Covid-19 restrictions. However, meetings remain available to the public via video conferencing.

Trust chair Neil Masom said: “The needs of patients and our local community are at the heart of our board discussions. So, it’s good to hear from members of the public and respond to their views and concerns.”

Questions must be submitted in advance and received by 5pm on Monday 3 May. Send them to Sharon Katema, the company secretary, at soh-tr.corporategovernance@nhs.net.

The Board meeting is on Wednesday 5 May at  10am. This link  gives access to the meeting. Observers can join at any time. Papers will be available in advance of the meeting here.
