The Board of Directors of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust now meets quarterly.

A new committee reporting to the Board, the Strategy and Operations Committee, established following the announcement of a partnership between the Trust and St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (STHK) last month, will hold its first meeting on Wednesday 6 October at 9.30am.

The committee is chaired by Richard Fraser, chair of the STHK board. It will usually meet monthly and is attended by the executive directors of both trusts and the non-executive directors of STHK.

Due to Covid, both the committee and Board meetings will continue to be held via video conferencing for the time being.
