If you are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, then sign up for Southport and Ormskirk hospitals healthcare support worker recruitment day.
The hospital trust is looking to recruit and train those with limited to no healthcare experience to become healthcare support workers.
Successful applicants will be enrolled on a 12-week practical training course designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to be successful members of the team.
The event will be held on Saturday 24 September at the Clinical Education Centre at Southport hospital, where prospective applicants can have a chat with a team of dedicated clinicians and educators.
Healthcare support worker roles are at the heart of the NHS and are a great first step into a career in healthcare, with many past Healthcare Support Workers going on to become registered nurses.
Elaine Deeming, Assistant Director of Nursing, said: “I would encourage anyone interested in a career in healthcare and passionate about making a difference to sign up for our recruitment event.
“You do not need to have worked in healthcare before to join the programme as we provide all the training you need to be successful in your role in a wonderful and welcoming organisation.”
