Tell us your People’s Health Hero

Make your nomination here now!

It’s back! Southport and Ormskirk hospitals People’s Health Hero Award is your chance to say the biggest thank you to those local NHS heroes that have gone the extra mile for you or your family.

The past two years have shown how much our community truly values those who work in our local NHS services, and now you can nominate a team or an individual working at Southport or Ormskirk hospitals, as well as community staff across Sefton and West Lancashire, who have made a difference to your care.

At the last Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals Time to Shine Awards, intensive care nurse Jennifer Harrison, was victorious for the People’s Health Hero Award. Jennifer was recognised and praised for the compassionate and excellent healthcare she provided to some of the hospitals most acutely ill patients during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year’s winner will be honoured at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa in November, where there will also be several other awards presented on the evening, including Employee and Team of the Year, to recognise the outstanding efforts of Southport and Ormskirk hospitals staff.

The event is at no cost to the NHS. Nominations should be made here or in writing to the Managing Director at: Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, Town Lane, Kew, Southport, PR8 6PN.

Closing date for nominations – Thursday 7th October 2022.
